Whitney Weston, Trainer/Instructor
Whitney began riding in Pony Club at four years old and received her B rating at 16. She competed in A Circuit Jumpers and recognized Dressage throughout the west coast. In Eventing, she has studied under Susie Beale, Major Jeremy Beale, Jean Moyer, John Camlin, Phillip Dutton, Jonathan Elliott, and Hawley Bennett. She has competed in 13 states, 3 countries, and has represented the United States in Zurich, Switzerland. Whitney currently lives near Westwood, training and instructing.

Nikki Medrud, Working Student

Nikki grew up in Washington doing Jumpers,Hunter, and Dressage. In high school she did 4-H and Pony Club receiving her C-2 rating. Nikki attended Rocky Mountain College in Montana where she majored in equine studies: business management. She is currently training her Int'l. Sporthorse mare, Rhya, for eventing at Westwood.

Carina

Carina Cooper, Working Student
Carina is originally from Hawaii. She moved to Oregon to pursue a Zoology career at Wildlife Safari after graduating from Colorado State. Carina earned her C-3 Pony Club rating at seventeen. Growing up, she rode Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers, as well as playing with the polo team in Colorado. Carina’s hard work and riding skills keep the horses stay in shape and all running smoothly!

Courtney Smith, Working Student
Courtney has been training with Whitney for several years. After graduating from high school, she spent a year in Germany, and is now back at Westwood. Courtney is training her imported Irish Sport Horse.

Hillary Lak, Working Student

Hillary grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She competed at the American Eventing Championships and received her C-3 rating in Pony Club before graduating high school in 2010. Now apprenticing at Westwood, she hopes to further her equestrian career.
